IMS Act compliance notice

The Infant Milk Substitutes, Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods Act, 1992 restricts how feeding bottles and infant foods may be presented. This page explains how we comply.

Breastfeeding is the normal and recommended way of feeding infants. This statement appears here and on relevant product packaging in accordance with the IMS Act, 1992.

What the Act restricts

The Act prohibits the promotion, advertising and marketing of infant milk substitutes, feeding bottles and infant foods for children up to two years of age — including discounts, inducements, endorsements and promotional claims.
